Water Inside Moonroof - HELP PLS:)

Hi! I could use some help-thank you in advance. I know there are a lot of thread about this, but I had mine fixed and wondering if the issue I am having is normal.

BACKGROUND:I recently bought a 2018 F-150. It sat for about 10 days and there was a lot of rain during that timeframe. I eventually went out to the truck and it had a horrible smell. I came this forum and read that I should check to see if my front floorboards were wet and sure enough they were. I then took it to Ford and they guaranteed me that they fixed the problem-it was a leak from the tubes and it was draining to the floorboards (or something like that). I was thankful to this forum because I knew that was the likely culprit from what I read here.

CURRENT PROBLEM: I have had the truck back home for about a week and it should be all fixed. However, it rained yesterday, and I went out to the truck this morning and the entire glass of the moonroof is wet with moisture, but not the rim around it. Is this normal? I have read in the forums that Ford designed the moonroof so water will drain down into the tubes, but in my case the water is all over the glass inside, not around the rim/track. I am going to call Ford tomorrow, but wanted to see if any of you had any insight. I think many of you here might know more than Ford

VIDEO attached.

Thank you so much!

My guess, I would let things dry out a bit more (a lot more). If you have some fans, (a dehumidifier would be ideal) and let it dry. Will take many days of great weather, personally I'd pull the carpet back and prop things under it. If this is not in your wheelhouse, call the Dealer, depending on the sales agreement, maybe they would allow you to have professionals dry it, and clean it. Good luck!

I agree with SpencerPJ. It looks like you have condensation on the inside of your moonroof, probably caused by the wet carpet making it humid inside your truck. Try drying it out real well before anything else.

Thank you so much for all the responses. If it's moisture from the carpet, wouldn't it be on the other windows and not just the moonroof?

Maybe the area around the moonroof is wet as well. It also would depend on the varying quality of glass, I have no idea the thermal properties of the different glasses. Place your hand in various areas where you know floor was wet, if it is even a little wet, get it dry.

Vacuum the carpet well. Also, pull the plastic kick panel and lift the carpet up to see if there is moisture under the carpet. If there is, fold it back, vacuum as much as possible under it ans then let it sit outside on a nice warm sunny day with the roof open and all the windows down.

Make sure that you don't park under trees. The leaves and debris work their way under the panels and eventually clog the drains. Oak trees are the worst, as their tassles get into everything, including your HVAC system. Once or twice a year, use some compressed air to blow out the drain tubes.

Just discovered a wet floormat on my 2019 King Ranch this week and it has done it now 3 days this week. We have been getting an exceptional amount of rain here in northern illinois. The passenger a post had standing water in it and the headliner where the a post meets the roof was soaked. Hose appears clog free and attached. I did however find what I believe is a split (not a seam) in the front glass' seal on the passenger side about halfway.
