I'm waiting til the temps are above 60, then going to clay bar the entire rig and get the winter grime off that won't come off from washing, then I will wax after. Hopefully next weekend.
When you guys clay bared, did you feel it got a lot of grime off the truck? I've heard you should clay bar on a new truck to get rid of rail dust, just curious if you guys felt it was worth it? thx

You only want to clay after a good two bucket (second for rinsing the mitt) wash. Then apply lube liberally when claying. I felt a little resistance here and there when claying but it was pretty smooth over all.

Last weekend I did my truck, took about 3 quarts of water, 4 Microfiber cloths with warm water. Waxed and looks showroom. Glass I never use Chemicals hard water spots come right off. I'll never use anything but quality microfiber cloths now. The sooner the better to get the wax on.
