axle help and intake help
Tried the vin decoders but can't seem to find out what axles I have. The code is C7J rated at 3170 front and 5300 rear. Also what is normal operation for the (cold air bypass baffle) that comes off of the air cleaner? Mine doesn't seem to open at high temp. What is normal operation?

The flap pulls air from the heated air around the exhaust manifold until the temperature in the air cleaner reaches a set value. At that point it moves to allow air in from the front of the radiator support. The temperature that the flap moves is determined by your engine emissions calibration.
