id try for one from a late 70's f250 or f350. The 350 will have a d60 and it will be cheaper than a newer one.

A 79 Dana 60 is too narrow for a 90 application. Anything will work with a ton of fabrication, but find an 86-98 60 front and save yourself a ton of headaches.

you should be fine with any dana60 from 86 up. mybe even 80 and up. but not shure on those years. anthing older will work but they are ment for the older frame that is not as wide so you would have to relocate the leaf spring perches.

Yes, go with the 60, I mean, I am swapping a ttb d44 into my bronco2 for more beef, a d44 in a 3/4 ton isn't adding beef, more like a side salad, unless you spend about 5 grand beefing everything on it up like, stronger R&P, trussing, stronger shafts and u-joints, etc. It will hold with smaller tires and street driving, but don't be suprised if it breaks out on the trail with factory or close size tires.

Hi guy's, correct me if I'm wrong but 88 to 92 d 60 used taperd roller bearing for lower ball joints 93 to 97 used normal ball joints. I went with the early style in my upgrade (I like this set up better, ball joints are ment wear out, bearings arn't) that's my theory....regards Domenico
