This is the week!


Or at least I hope so.

My window sticker was released on March 28, so that lines up well with a build date this week. The info from my dealer seems accurate.

Who else has a build happening this week?

 

The dealer has had todays date as the build date... I myself received a window sticker with 3/29/16..

 

I'm jealous, my dealer says mine will be built the last week of April, and since I have a VIN and no window sticker yet, I believe them.

 

Chin up, Johnpsz! A VIN is a good start. Keep checking for that window sticker. Then you’ll know you are a week out.

Out of curiosity, when did you order? The order-to-build times seem to have steadily dropped from the first of the year.

 

Still no information on COTUS for me, but Ford chat confirmed my vehicle is "in production" as of now so this is definitely happening soon. Exciting! I'm totally not pasting my VIN into ETIS every hour.

 

I'm keeping my chin up, don't know how to let it drop to be honest with you, lol. I just am on top of this as I have a hard deadline with reservation fees and a wedding on the east coast that is prompting the latest dates we can leave on our cross country RV trip and I need the truck here no later than the 1st week of June so I can rack up break-in mileage before hooking up the trailer and head out.

I ordered on 3/15, confirmed with Ford Chat on 3/17 that the order was in their system and "In Order Processing" as the dealer promised me that Ford would accept the order on the Thursday (day after) I submitted it.

 

I've been checking for the window sticker website and COTUS daily and they popped-up today.

03/03 - Order placed into DORA with Priority Code #10
03/16 - VIN# issued and Cotus indicated production the week of 4/10
04/04 - Window Sticker made available and Cotus changed from Processing to In Production. Sticker shows 04/04 date on the bottom.
04/27 - Projected delivery date

This is a well optioned KR diesel.

 

My order was submitted on 3/13 so I would guess there is a good chance yours will be built well before the end of April.

 

3/2 - Ordered - Priority code 19
3/16 - On Cotus w/VIN
3/29 - Window Sticker

Should be built today or tomorrow. Dealer has deliver by 4/17

 

I too have a Platinum crew SRW short box 6.7L in Ruby Red on order being built this week, ordered 3/14, Dora processed 3/16, Sched 4/3, I'm pretty pumped I haven't had a Super Duty since 2002. I see mine is a job 2 build, the last 6 of my VIN is D37834 and I'm not sure how long it'll take to ship to my dealer in Saskatchewan? I'm sure it'll be a couple weeks on the rail, I can't wait to see it!

Based on the window sticker I'm guessing it will be built this week.

 

I know even my dealer was shocked how quick it got grabbed, I expected it to come in mid May! Not sure why it got grabbed up so fast, perhaps they had allocation waiting for units?

 

Or maybe they group certain trim levels together? I would think it would be easier to run a bunch of Platy's in a row or a bunch of KR's.
