Car wash?

Has anyone run their super duty through one of the ride through car washes yet? I used to run my F-150 through one when I was short on time, but not sure if the new truck will fit...

I run my thru once a week, I have an unlimited membership. 1.5 level up front and 34.8x11.3 tires, and a camper shell. It fits....barely. Just fold mirrors in and get a stubby antenna.

Same here. Stock height and tire size, but +1 offset wheels. Fits fine. They're just as interested in you fitting as you are. If you hit up one of the newer ones (typically the ones that offer memberships), I'd imagine you'd be fine

Same. Blows the cheap plastic fuel door open with the blowers though.

I did run my F350 Stock height and wheels through a brushless weekly, but the top blower was scuffing the roof and blowing water through the sun roof. Have no leaks when it rains but did at the 140mpg the blower pushed. Stopped going there now looking foe new wash.

I do with none of the issues mentioned above. I have 2.5" front level and 295/65/20 tires on 20x9 0-offset wheels.

Funny, I just logged in to search out car washes and saw this new thread...

Someone mentioned the dryer and their moonroof. After reading the thread about their hood flexing on the highway from wind, is the dryer an issue for our aluminum bodies? Someone else mentioned the gas cover opening. Was there any damage to it?

Completely stock F-350, no issues going through the car wash. I did pull the antenna, not because of the report of ripped body panels but because I don't want it whipping back into my windshield or pillar.

I didn't notice my gas door opening, but I wasn't looking either.

I'm not getting on a soapbox here, but I couldn't imagine taking a $70,000+ truck through a car wash that has brushes. They dull paint. I don't care how much they say their brushes won't, they do put micro scratches in it which dulls it over time.
I prefer to bucket wash at home, but when I'm in a hurry, or the weather isn't favorable I only use touch free washes.

I took mine through last Friday. No problems. By brushes are you talking the old school brushes from 20 years ago. The car wash I go through has those long microfiber type hang down cleaner type rags and the same is attached to the "brushes" that do spin but they are not the old brush type material of yesteryear.

Have been taking my car through this wash and my last truck many times over the past 18 months and neither are worse off than before when I hand washed.

Washing that truck is a pain IMO. I hate it unless I have time to kill and nothing better to do. Rather spend $10, drive in, drive out and be done.

I have unlimited washes at my local place. I've taken my Titan through there probably 300 times. My paint still looks great. My $70k truck will get the same treatment.

I have a 2.5 level and stock tires and i go through touch less washes all the time. I cant use a non touch less wash. They may say the material wont scratch your vehicle but just think of all the grime and road junk stuck on those scrubbers that is getting rubbed into your paint. Only time i scrub the truck is after the wash i will dry and detail it when its nice out.
