I want to buy new carpet for my 53 mercury convertible.can anyone recommend a good source for me.i want one that is made for that car

Suggest that you NOT buy from these folks Auto Carpet for Car, Truck, Van - Stock Interiors. Although the carpet is well made and good quality with some of the proper contours pressed in they missed the critical front contour going up the firewall and it is only bound on three sides. Also it is too wide at the A pillars, too narrow at the rocker panels and about 2 feet longer than necessary in the back. I'm not pleased with the fit at all.

The folks from Stock Interiors are refunding my money. They claim that their patterns are made from stock rubber mats but they certainly don't fit. I think someone traced outside the lines. Their carpet was of good quality and looked nice in the center. I am glad that they are a reputable company.
