Squeal before shift
I own a 2001 SuperCrew 5.4L, 4x4 off-road, XLT. Under hard acceleration I hear a squeal just before the truck shifts(auto trans). It sounds like the belt but I am not sure. Anyone have any suggestions to remedy this noise?

I've got the same problem. Some have suggested replacing the belt, which I'll probably do. Seems early, however. (2001 4.6 , 21 months; 56,000 miles).
Some have said the Goodyear Gatorback belts are better than the OEM.
