The common thread with those failures seems to be the mechanic involved. Misdiagnosis perhaps?

This is also what I suspect
Hence me asking if anyone else has seen this issue

I still have the Edge Juice with overhead console/monitor in my 'winter rat' (an '02 2500HD Dmax). Run it in Stage 1 "Fuel saver mode" even way back when I was towing w it, unless I was in the bigger mountains then maybe a 3 out of 5 is all. Dragged race a few buddies in the 5 mode, creates a lot of black smoke too, my Son was in awe of the Mode5.

Still have this so called 'winter rat' today, looks great, no rust and the 4x4 comes in handy for our NY snowy weather. I never drive my active/current "pull vehicle" in the winter... call her a garage queen! lol
