Got my window sticker, VIN, build date (4-11-17) and suspected delivery of 5-13...Ford chat said the same thing as the dealer as above.
This is my 3rd SuperDuty and I hope the best too.
Bronze Fire, 350 KR, Lots of bells and whistles and of course the 6.7.
It's gonna be a long 3 1/2 weeks!
Managed to talk to a Ford rep on facebook today and he confirmed that it cleared the plant on April 10th but as of today was still on the train in Kentucky. 2 weeks and it's still in the state, wow that's great customer service! lol The ETA at my dealership is May 18-24...so that would be 6 weeks to get here after being built. That's longer than I expected and sucks because I will be hooking up to tow across country on June 16th!
Glad they bumped the ETA up, how did it pick up almost 2 weeks in transit? It was just a few days ago you said it was still in KY? I'm only asking as mine is getting loaded onto the rail car today, and you and I have similar summer trip leave times...
I have no idea John, but I'm not complaining! I wonder if there was a big order for the west coast that they loaded them all on to save shipping costs or something. Hopefully the train has a tailwind and it gets here even faster! lol
I guess it's a possibility, and makes sense, that they stage them together. And I wonder if that why, even though my truck is built my ETA went from 5/21 to now being 5/28?
YaaHooo, just talked to dealer and my truck is 'on convoy' in Kansas. I should be able to pick up next week 3 to 5 May.
I'm hoping the 5th as it is Cinco D'mayo (sp)...
My truck was built on 4-20 and the last 5 are 42020.
Too excited...
