Differential HELP!!!

Im new to replacing my rear diff. gasket (since its leaking pretty bad). What are the proper torque on the bolts, and how much gear oil should i use? Whats the best gear oil? Do i need to add any additives to the oil?? Kinda above my head here but feel confident i can do it!! HELP PLEASE!

Fwiw, Diff cover doesn't use a gasket from the factory. They use RTV

Having done the RTV thing for years, its a PIA as it needs to sit overnight to cure before you can put the oil in.

This time around I used the Lube Locker print o seal gaskets. EASY. No wait, no mess, no leaks and reusable. Well worth the few bucks.

I waited 5 minutes to let it skin up and put the diff cover on. Have done it that way for years with RTV without a problem.

You let it sit too long.
