Nice find Byron! Nothing wrong by moving up and on. At leas you still have the reliable 7.3! They are pretty tough trucks. Two of my brothers have the NBS with the 7.3, and lets just say they aren't real high on maintenance, other than oil changes. Their theory is "it still moves, so it must be all right." It drives me nuts.

Thanks Tom! Yes I am way too OCD for that mentality… LOL
You really messed up. Big mistake getting rid of the OBS! Just kidding I like the super dutys as well! My favorite will always be the OBS, but the super dutys are pretty nice.
I'm guessing it's not manual though right? Wasn't your most recent one manual 4x4? I'd be pretty sad going from a zf5 4x4 to auto! Not to say the truck isn't nice because I like it! I just am partial to manual transmissions!
I remember doing that back in 2009 when I got me a new Taco and no stick option with the V6.
Been driving stick since before 86 and I still have to put my left foot near the seat so I wont hit the phantom clutch by mistake. Did that a few times and hit the brake pedal instead. My boss chewed me out for locking the brakes in the parking lot with the delivery truck and I said the clutch was missing. He said it was an automatic while looking at me funny, I said I know that but my foot don't know it yet.
I am getting better but once in a while it still happens.

ZF-6 fellers...I definitely didn't make a mistake getting rid of Whitey. I made a profit, got a nicer truck, and still have a 7.3...not sure how that's losing in any way. Sure the OBS will always be my first love, but this SD fits my needs much more.
Haha yeah. I guess I usually make it more of a point to say my vehicles are manual because they aren't as common and I didn't see it mentioned on the thread or in the sig. I'm not sure the auto to manual ratio of superduties, but I'd assume there are more autos.
A ZF6 4x4 is a pretty nice setup! I'm giving you a hard time for getting rid of the other truck as well, I like your new one. Your new truck seems quite nice, probably better than what your old truck was. As I said, I like the OBS styling more, but the super duty styling is still one of my favorite looking trucks on the road.
