haha! I love it when they don't list an asking price, but make statements like "MAKE OFFER....ALL I CAN DO IS SAY NO.......PLEASE DON'T LOW BALL EITHER.... THANKS FOR LOOKING."

HTH did you come to that conclusion from the above?
Did you read the ad? The portion of my post within the quotes is copied & pasted directly from his ad......
In my ideal world, people would just put a price in the ad........but I could live with it if they had no price, but didn't act all butthurt when you throw a number at them BECAUSE they didn't put a price in the ad.....
No title, hm? So he has no proof that it is his or has a right to sell it. Seems every other CL ad for something that's been in a barn or field for years has no title. The seller simply wants to unload it and let it be the buyer's problem. No thanks, it's HIS problem if he doesn't have the paperwork to go with it.
Not only no title, but he made sure warranty plate number wasn't in the picture. A little suspicious to me. This is from the Georgia DMV website. You cannot title a 1963-1985 year model vehicle if:
The vehicle has been registered in someone else’s name(s) other than the owner(s) shown on the face of the Georgia title.
It would make a good parts truck considering the seat brackets and console are worth something.
Ya, what is it with these guys and no title. Weird.
I should go look at it and take copious pictures. Some things incorrect like backup light rear lenses, steering wheel, but overall it might have some things worth looking at. It's only maybe a 30 minute drive or so for me.
I guess it is different in CT than the rest of the country... if the vehicle is older than 20 years, no title needed. Only Bill of Sale. I do not have a title for mine, but did in fact buy it from the one and only owner
This is a pretty decent tool for getting in the ballpark of what has been the selling price on these trucks. https://www.hagerty.com/apps/valuati..._Ton?id=140725
The problem is most of the ones I see on craigslist don't even measure up to their #4 condition.
Condition #1 vehicles are the best in the world. The visual image is of the best vehicle, in the right colors, driving onto the lawn at the finest concours. Perfectly clean, the vehicle has been groomed down to the tire treads. Painted and chromed surfaces are mirror-like. Dust and dirt are banned, and materials used are correct and superbly fitted. The one word description for #1 vehicles is "concours." $22,000, Lol.
