Art Rotors Installed

Well, after waiting 5 weeks for my set of front rotor to show up, i have them on my truck! Intall took about 2 hours b/c I had to repack the front bearings. After about 100 miles these rotors rock! VERY linear braking. I am told that they get even better after about 200 miles...so i will keep everyone informed!

How hard were they to put on? I have my sets of front and rears, just don't have them installed yet. Anything I should look out for during install? I heard the caliper bolts were a little rough to get out, but anything other than that?

Ford uses Loc-Tite on the caliper bolts, so they can be a little hard to break free.

There are hairpin clips on the front pads that help to keep the pads pulled away from the rotors. Those are a pain, but manageable.

The rear pads have shims that do not come on the new pads. Make sure you take the shims off the old pads and install them on the new pads.
