2017 Events, Bogs, Pulls, Shows, etc

Thought I'd make a new thread for this year. One of my friends posted a flyer for his car club's upcoming show in Kenly, they do it out there at the 95 Petro Truck Stop. What caught my eye in particular was the "Ugly Truck" category. This will be the first time my old Mean Green attends a show!

Figures, that looks like something that would be fun, but we'll be gone already.

Thanks for getting the thread going John.

Not sure if I can make the 13th. We'll see. Looks like fun though.

Saturday Starts off the season at Jump and run. Then the next race is Aprill 22nd, that's the one I'm shooting to be at. I'll get the dates for the Big races/Jamboree and post them up, they're in June and September.

Here's an offer for anyone but had doc in mind.

We plan another trip to jumping run creek. Set the date. Folks from the west just need to make it to the triangle. From there we can carpool the rest of the way. Makes for a long day but you're only driving half the time.

We go to jumping run to support Larry.

We can also plan something for Lee County Mud Motorsports Complex. It's located more centrally in the state. Everyone meets there. We've done that as well.

We do our best to get all our chapter members involved.

I am game, more time to plan the better for me to warm the wife up to it.

Larry, do you have any you are planning to run in, so we can get a date set?

I plan to be at all of the ones on that list asking as breakage doesn't keep me down.

The mud fest, or Jamboree would be the 2 is shoot for personally just because more trucks will be there.

Also for some reason Lee county isn't running again until middle of September.

Maybe the Mudfest in September would be good then.

Made it to the car show in Kenly. Was worth the drive.

Because they were talking rain on thru/fri I figured it would be good to work on my project truck and skip the show.

Yes it was nice out but got some more done on the project.
