Hello all, first time poster here. Picking up my new ride tomorrow evening. 2017 F350 Platinum. Just curious which weight engine oil everybody is using? My dealer, which services a ton of trucks, recommends and uses, 10W30 in all the 6.7s. I'm leaning towards the 5W40, but thought I would get some opinions.

 

This has been beaten to death in the last couple weeks here. Do a search in the 2017 section for the word oil. You'll kill the rest of your weekend reading....

No worries. The sites search function is not great unless you set it up just right doing an advanced search.

 

 

I usually run the 5/40 or even 0/40 year round in my trucks. But, I live in northern Canada. Our weather is a little more extreme than others.
