curious to know if anyone has ever successfully relocated the front flange on their waterpumps.
the flange that the pulley and the fan clutch bolts to.
I know on other makes of vehicles ive been able to manipulate
this flange out a bit to align the pulley better.
my issue is that my belt rides on the front of the pulley making it obnoxious
it looks like its pressed on, and I tried to use a puller to pull it out, but I felt like it was too much tension and I didn't want to break it.
this was after I pulled the shroud off and realize that I used incorrect bolts,
which lead to the bolts entering the radiator top tank... so I had to replace that as well.
belt tensioner, water pump, and idler pulley are all bran new.
i would suspect this, but the water pump pulley is directly inbetween the PS pump and the crank pulley.
i did have the powersteering pump pulley off to replace PS pump, but it went back on to the same location at the end of the PSP shaft
