ZF 5 Short Throw Shift Mod??
Has anyone done this mod?
I read a post on midnight mods about the mod. I know Midwest Trans used to do the mod, but stopped. Now I see the kits on ebay, but they look as though parts are missing.
If anyone has done this mod I'd appreciate a few words about it, and mention of where you got the kit. Thx.
*P.S.: I went to the MidWest Trans site and found they are the ones selling the kit on ebay. $200. It is said that the S542 ZF, as opposed to the S547, which is the later model, is the one that benefits most with this mod, since the 47 has a shorter shift throw built in. And, because I have the 42, this might be just what I'm looking for!
