Issues deciding
So I've gotten to the point where my farm needs more than my 96 heavy half. I want a 7.3 one ton but at the moment it seems that truck prices, diesels especially, are ridiculous. People want 7 grand for a beat on truck with non matching paint. My boss and friends have diesels so I know their benefits pretty well. And I do all my own maintenance and work except brakes and tires (because I hate them). So my question is, is it worth it to keep looking for my 7.3 or would it be best to go with a one ton Ford with a 5.8? I found one for reasonable price and no rust. It's what my truck has in it now but I don't know how well a one ton would do with the 5.8. Just looking for some opinions. Thanks.
