tank selector switch
I have a 92 F-150 that won't run when the rear tank is selected.
I thought it was the switch in the panel but I changed it out and still have the same problem. I guess it's time to start chasing the problem down. Any suggestions?

Does your fuel guage work on both tanks, and read about what they should? Switch to the bad tank, see if you hear the fuel pump run. It might take two of you, one to hear the pump, and one to turn on the key, it should cycle for a few seconds. My expearence, it is 95% the fuel pump bad. Good luck let us know what you find.
