starter problems
I replaced the starter motor assembly on Saturday. I think starter motors fail at the most inconvenient times. The first time it acted up was as I was leaving a crowded parking lot the 4th of July. My buddy banged on it and luckily it started. Then just the other day it didn't want to turn as I was leaving Home Depot. It finally started after banging on it and cussing at it. The next morning it fired right up as I put the old beast up on ramps to replace the starter motor. Go figure.
Thanks for your input stepman. Can you recommend a good sealant to patch a leaky gasket from the outside, specifically the crankshaft rear oil seal?
