John: I can relate to your letter! I too bought a old 48 Ford. I am doing all the work myself. Four years ago I bought a 66 Mustang convertible for $500.00, but I was in a rush and took it to a restroation shop and after a year and half & $11000.00 I had a nice body. Then with another $6000.00 I had a Mustang that took 1st place @ the 2002 Charlotte Mustangs National. But becaues of the $$$ I sold my Stang to a guy in Swenden! I did not want to sell ,,,,,,,, but I had to much $$$ tied up in this car! If you send me your e-mail address I would love sent you a pic. Now for the truck , This is not going to happen ! I have jioned a local club, taking my time & doing almost everything myself! I even have signed up for a clas in body work, The class is only $60 bucks for six Saturdays. You can use all the equipment & they even have a paint booth! My neighbor does custom interior work on old cars so that is done! I have met a couple of old timers that are willing to help me if I help they on a few Saturday @ htey shop, so that is a good trade off!! Anyway I just wanted to thats for the great letter! Maybe I;ll see you @ the supernationals. I am going to a truck show in mid Sept @ Chimmey Rock. Please send me you address I send you some pics! Thanks, David ( Charleston S.C.)
