I have a 2004 E350 6.0 with a bad vacuum pump. I tried looking on Youtube for a video on replacing the pump but no luck. Does anyone know of a video or instructions on replacing the pump? It looks fairly easy but you need to be a snake to gain access to the pump bolts.
Absolutely NOT normal. You more than likely have a leak. If you have electronic shift on the fly (ESOF- switch on the dash) the hub seals can leak or any of the vucuum lines going to the hubs.
Here is a video for you.
Thanks for the reply 87 but the E350 has a mechanical pump mounted on the front of the engine down about mid way. It's driven by the serp belt. Looks like I need to remove the radiator, intercooler and shrouds to get to it.

You may want to add "E-series" to the thread title. Might have better luck getting feedback from other E series owners. Mostly F-series guys in this 6.0 section.
