This is True.

I get this weekly email that describes 4 stories throughout the week which show complete and utter stupidity on peoples behalf. I was just wondering if anyone else gets the same thing?
Here are some actual stories of stupidity:
1.FLAMING IDIOT: A burglar used a blowtorch to open a safe at Perkins Family Restaurant in Charleston, S.C. In his zeal, he set the money in the safe on fire. A surveillance video shows him run to get buckets of water to put out the fire. "He probably realized he was burning up what he's trying to steal," one of the restaurant's owners said. The man got away with about $3,000 in singed, soggy cash. (Charleston Post and Courier) ...Thus fulfilling his lifelong dream "to have money to burn."

2.WHERE THERE'S SMOKE, THERE'S FIRE II: Two women in remote Gambell, Alaska, needed some gasoline for their ATV after the local fuel station had closed, so they helped themselves. Working in the dark, police say, Charity Apangalook, 20, lit her lighter to see how full the tank was. When the vapors ignited, "Charity got scared and pulled the nozzle," a state trooper said, spraying herself and her unnamed 16-year-old companion with gas and setting both of them on fire. They beat each other's flames out, which is a good thing since they were in the midst of tanks holding 30,000 gallons of gasoline and fuel oil -- the village's entire supply. The two were charged with criminally negligent burning, reckless endangerment and theft. (Anchorage Daily News) ...How come they're never charged with their real crime, "reckless stupidity"?

3.GONNA BE FIRED: In response to a mandate from Mayor Jack Ford to clamp down on prostitution, police in Toledo, Ohio, set up a sting to arrest "johns" who solicit hookers. Once things were running, a city-ownedstreet-sweeper drove by. The on-duty driver stopped and, police say, propositioned the undercover female officer. Matthew Pittman, 43, who recently completed his one-year work probationary period, was arrested. "I'm embarrassed but I'm also surprised someone would be that bold," Mayor Ford said. (Toledo Blade) ...Different city workers, different methods of "cleaning up this town".

4.TWO FIRED TOO: Two sanitation workers in Rochester, N.Y., were fired after they were discovered in a city-owned trash truck employing the services of a prostitute while on duty. In broad daylight, in the afternoon, while parked on a city street, in view of pedestrians. "This was probably the most expensive sex act that they've ever committed," said Mayor William A. Johnson Jr., who noted both men had families. (Rochester Democrat and Chronicle) ...If they had families, then that wasn't the most expensive sex act they've ever committed.

I always find them quite humorus. Just thought I'd share it with you guys.

Hey there coolmint94! I remember the Rochester incident! The story didn't last as long as this one though.
A middle school teacher was arrested when her husband brought in her daily dose of heroin, which she had forgotten, before leaving for school. They were both arrested and fined 1000 bucks each. She still works as a teacher! I guess her husband still delivers narcotics! Pretty Sick!
Talk with you later....
