That was a nice day at 62...

Was constant lightening and thunder for about an hour and a half.

The hail on the roof sounded like it was destroying the house.

Nothing like that tonight, maybe I can get some sleep. LOL

Had the roof checked for hail damage last Summer when everyone was getting theirs replaced because of hail damage. No damage.Does need to be replaced because the granuals have worn off. They want 10 grand to replace it.

Yeah it isn't cheap.. Especially if you hire the ones that did the neighbors...LOL

I went to school with the guy that put it on in 1997 for $4000. He wanted $10,000. this time. The company doing all of the roofs last year is a fly by night outfit out of Chicago. Noway would I hire them.

I listened to them roofing the house next door, not the (widow woman), They were putting 8 to 12 nails in each shingle and only offered a 10 year warranty.

Its shreading the plywood, only need 4 nails through the center.
