You sure it's a 1976? 400 (and 351M) introduced in 1977.
4speed with all new interior and new bumpers and everything just haven't put all back on what would it be worth when finished?

Went from the 390 to the 400 ? Thats not typical, but to each his own.... My kid is dreaming about his first truck and we 'google' lots of them weekly, if its super clean, looks to be 2wd, anywhere from $2500-$4000 ish.... depending on the mileage and overall condition IMO.... 
If the motor is a fresh rebuild you can hold your ground on a higher number, if your motor is tired its only worth what someone is going to pay for it 
, these trucks are a labor of love, you can dump 10k into one and not get half that back..... Of coarse, your local 'market' is important also......If your talking a frame off resto, I see them for 10k plus, but they sit for a loooooong time ....
