Now I know the first part but what does 123/120S mean?
Question 2: Big ol'mirrors with lights in them...white courtesy and an amber light...
I would think that the amber light would flash with my turn signals...they do not. Should they?
I am pretty certain that the amber lights on the side/front of the mirrors are just marker lights. I may be wrong, but I am going off of the experience with my 2015 F350 mirrors.
Direction Indicator Mirrors (If Equipped)
While the vehicle is running, the
forward-facing portion of the appropriate
mirror housing blinks when you switch on
the direction indicator.
I just thought that ALL vehicles these days HAD turn indicators on the mirrors and since the lights were there....oh well.
The 2017 has the turn signal repeaters in the mirrors...but they are only visible from behind. Turn on your 4-way flashers and stand behind your truck...you'll see two amber LED repeaters in the edges of the mirrors blinking. The front amber portions are simply "mirror clearance" lamps and do not blink. The previous generation (2011-2016) and actually the generation before that (2008-2010) had two smaller, non-LED amber lamps. The lower lamp illuminated as the clearance lamp; the upper lamp blinked as a turn signal repeater. It was visible from the front, side, and even certain rear angles. I was disappointed to find the 2017 mirror blinker is not visible from the front.
