Hey all, I'm looking at putting a 10-11 inch LED bar between my fog lamps for more light when I'm out in the woods or fields.
My question, to those of you that have done this, how did you do it? I'm not hugely concerned about putting a hole in the bumper but I do not want to mount it on top of the bumper.
Yeah it does. No other way of just drilling straight into the bumper. You will need the roughly 4 inches of offset to put it back.
Also, you'll need to redo your licence plate frame if you are required to have one. In California we are (plus, I rather like the opportunity for creativity it presents.)
Here is what the mounting bar I made looks like. I just used some old piece of steel.
The back of my mounting bracket. This one took me a day.
