Both the frame rail and under hood filters are different on the 17's. (I think the under hood one is different too but not 100% on that one...) You can see them on dieselfiltersonline.com.

this is what Dieselfilters has on their site.

I did roughly 8500 miles before mine came up for a change. The oil system has all kinds of sensors in it. I looked at a few in ForScan. Very interesting stuff.

Got it thanks! I was on their site earlier looking at 6.7 powerstroke, I just didn't see the 2017 option. Thanks!

Same here...
They do. Manual says to change the oil when the oil minder says to. I wouldn't change at 1000 but it's your truck and your $$$

Are you saying that Ford puts additives in with the initial oil fill? Or are you just opining?

Anytime. Yea you have to select make, model and year of truck to get to the proper filters.

I have seen no definitive proof one way or the other. Changing at 1k is wasteful and I trust the computer when to tell me. Can't deny warranty when you follow what it says. The days of 3k oil changes have long passed and is unnecessary. As I said earlier, it's your truck and your money but I wouldn't be doing it so fast

I dont see a part number for the under hood fuel filter on dieselfiltersonline.com. Only see the fuel/water separator

LOng Bed Snobberry. LBS.

Yeah, I bet your idle hours are what's tripping the oil change Epic.

I am showing crazy distances on the LB tank, at full I am at 950 Km, 3/4 tank 680 km, amd half around 500km. Hardly ever HAVE to go get fuel.
