Hello everyone, I am working on my 64 f100 shortbox project and am having an issue finding a drivers side front fender anywhere in Canada.
I have amazingly found a passenger side that is in very good condition for $75! however even finding a new replacement fender seems to be difficult. The truck was put through a fence and hit a post which pushed the front bumper back into both front fenders kinking the bottom of them and exposing quite a large amount of covered up body damage completed by the previous owner.
Also I would completely appreciate any advise on where to get any parts for these trucks in Canada.
The truck is a 64 body on a 65 frame with power steering and disk breaks up front. I bought it in Manitoba and drove it home to Alberta with no issues.
Has an early 90's 302 converted to carb, not sure what transmission. Right now I am working on the appearance of the truck going to get it aesthetically to where I want it and then continue on with the smaller things as I drive it on weekends throughout the summer. I will post some pictures here in a bit.
Any advise is greatly appreciated.
Kenlar where are you in Alberta? I know a guy near Edmonton that might have a used fender. I don't think you can pm anyone yet so here is my email. dmc4@telus.net , Doug.
Welcome to FTE and I am in central AB. There is a guy named Terry out of Spruce Grove who wrecks these trucks. He is very nice and very reasonable to deal with. His business is called Rust in Peace.
