Hi all. I just joined the FTE Forum because I just bought a 1995 F150 Standard Cab Long bed with a 4.9 and a 5 speed manual trans.
It has 211k miles on it so its well broke in. I spent the day replacing the plugs and O2 sensor. The plugs looked fairly decent, but they were a pain to get out. No idea of how long they had been in there but it must have been a long while because they were rusted in place. Lots of WD-40 and slow pulls on the wrench did the job.
I am in Central Texas (Austin area) and also enjoy my 1966 Mustang. I've put a GT40 crate motor in it and an AOD trans with 3:55 gears. Its a fun little car.
