This looks much more like the one I need - the mounting holes are the same distance apart as this one. I dont recall the letters being red, but they could have faded before I got the truck. My purchased my truck in 1978.
Any help finding this would be great! I also need the indicator/pointer - it is a round part that mounts on the column and has the pointer to which gear you are in.
Bill, what do the letters mean below the name of the part? In this case C,D,J, JH with F/M?
The letters are code for F100, F250, F100, etc that are used in the ford parts book. I'm not sure which letters is what without looking but I'm sure 'C' is for F100.
that's my nos one pictured above. I've been making reproductions for years. It takes a perfect mold to make a perfect reproduction.
Do you have pictures of your reproductions? Mine is in pretty good condition, but does have some cracking. I contacted you a few years ago about NOS one(s) you had, but was more than I could spend at that time. You have always been a BIG help!

got a '53 with the fordomatic that I am going to use with my 302/c4 trans and I am missing the indicator that sits on top of the column. I see that they do not reproduce it. Anybody know where I can get one? There is one on the auction site but I am not paying 220.00 for a piece of acrylic.
I have the complete column with gear box and steering wheel. I would like to get rid of it all at one time. I would sell very cheap. I am located in VA. Thanks.
