She finally came in. F350 DRW King Ranch, Ultimate Package, Diesel, with 27.5K fifth wheel hitch, spray in bedliner, with FX4 package.
I absolutely love it! About 300 miles on it so far and still over half a tank to go. My only complaint would be the dinky 17" wheels. That needs to be upgraded ASAP.
Im getting a 2.5" leveling kit put on next week, retrax pro cover. And I have the mud flaps and bug deflector on order.
Other than that Im gonna keep it pretty stock.
Gonna hook it up to the 5th wheel this weekend, see how it goes.''
9 months ago is when you ordered? That's bs on Fords part IMO they don't have a rhyme or reason as to when they pump trucks out of the factory.
Yup back in May. I did have a couple changes in July, but either way a truck ordered in July should have delivered before the end of the year.
Apparently the rear mud flaps were the culprit for the delay. So I had them remove that from my build and it all went through somewhat faster from then on.
Until then I was just living vicariously through this forum and everyone's sweet trucks.
Nice truck. I waited 4 months for mine, basically the same as yours but in bronze fire. I've got a little over 1,0000 mi in the first month, and smiling the whole time, I'm sure you will be too.
Very nice looks great!
Your going to love it
What size of tire and rim are thinking of and what's your gear ratio you may not want to go to much taller if you have 3.55 and are going to tow a big 5th wheel
I ordered my 2017 F350 Just after thanksgiving, the dealer said it was being built and would be here in about two weeks. I'm trying to figure out what hitch to buy and I'm torn between the B&W Champion RVK3300, and the Curt Q20.
I"m really concerned about the height of the bed, I pull a 2009 Montana, has anyone had any issues with the bed height of the new 20017 and fifth wheel clearance?
Very nice looks great!

I have the 4.10 axles. Not sure on the wheels and tires yet. Im not very well versed on the subject. But I was thinking I could go 20" on the wheels with a lower profile tire so I don't have to lift the truck. However not sure how the lower profile tire might be able to handle the weight.
I have a Columbus by Palomino 34' she weighs about 18K dry. So I figure about 2500-3000 weight on the hitch (I bought the hitch from the factory, so Im hoping it works nicely)
Very nice trailer
With 4.10 you could go up to 33.5" tall tire no problem
Wait till you start pricing out rims and tires you may just stick with the stock ones you can get to about $6000 really fast
Cheers Marc
