I recently purchased a 2003 Expedition. When I bought it, I wanted the in dash navigation but they didn't have one I liked with it installed so I asked them if it was something I could buy at a later date and have it installed. They said I could. I am now ready to purchase one but the parts department at my dealer tells me that Ford doesn't make one like I described even though it is covered in depth in my owner's manual.

Does anybody know how I can order one? Do I have to go directly to Ford?

I have a O3 Expy as well and I purchased the Navigation system that I think you are referring to from e-Bay. I then purchased the O3 Expy/Nav wiring guide (again on e-bay) However when I went to install I found out 2 things. One the nav unit is bigger then the stereo that came in my truck (standard cd/tape/am/fm). Two the wiring book only has info for the indash 6 disk changer and the nav unit not mine so I have no idea what my wires are.

If someone could help here that would be great!!!

If someone would like pin outs for the changer and the nav I have them and can scan and post.

I have an F-150 and would like to put the Expedition nav unit in my truck. I have the 6 disc changer currently. Would this be a problem?

What do I need to know about doing it?
