Del Mentioned we could just arrange a one day trip if it turns out the weather is cooperating.

Jack, if it does clear up and you want to come up and camp and shoot give me a call. I'll contact KWPT and arrange for us to go to the range.

Thank you Del. Still not looking good. I think I'll just wait fer the next Camp Shoot & Wheel.

Still rainy and wet here. I saw on the ORV site this morning that someone is looking for someone to come pull out his pickup from the bottom with the water rising there.

Yeah, I don't think it ever quit raining or misting this weekend, it would have been fun for a while, to go out, but overall it would have been miserable after the first couple of hours. That mud out there is fun, but trying to drive on it the whole day takes the fun out of it. I like to go out when tires grab and the vehicles go places you didn't believe they could.

I think they are discussing it on FB, but I don't know if they came with a date. I think last I saw it was June 24th, or something like that.

Well, we need to look at our calendars again and figure out another CSW weekend for Spring of 2018. Would be great to have a huge turnout, its been a long time since we organized one that many people showed up for. I am leaning toward maybe April? so the temperature will be more predictable?

Share your thoughts.

My vote would be against April unfortunately. Mason has soccer every Saturday in April, the weather tends to be poo (at least with our previous luck), and this year I'm in a friend's wedding on the first weekend of May so I'll be likely out a weekend or two in advance for that.

I'd say anything after the first weekend in May would work best for me, but I know other people get busy during that time too

May gets really hectic for us. First weekend might work for me. Curtis, I suppose the car club has their show the second or third weekend.

Since Justin is out the first weekend I am hoping for the second weekend? Maybe instead of a full blown camp shoot and wheel we can just have a small camp weekend- or camp day? Maybe a little fishing with the kids?

You have my attention, although I wonder if you are feeling well? Are you suggesting we skip the off-roading and just do camping? I wouldn't mind doing something like that. I am going to try to go off-roading this weekend if anyone is in the area that would like to go along.

I think a nice relaxing weekend of just camping is just what the doctor ordered. Cooking on the charcoal grill, kicking back, maybe a beer or two and spend the whole day doing mucha nuthin.

You guys don't have to skip out on off-roading on our scheduling conflict, feel free to keep with the original plan. But I DO have another suggestion for a weekend sometime after

Do you guys want to come to the Marion Reservoir and spend the day out there? Our camper is plenty big to fit every for meals\lounging (if you want to spend the night, you'd have to provide a tent). The views at Marion lake are awesome, the crowd is MUCH quieter compared to other lakes we've stayed at, and the fishing is good. We like it so much that we go out there almost every other weekend in the summer.

If we do want to pursue that option, let me know sooner than later. I'd like to reserve our spot as well as a spot for you guys to park\pitch tents depending on the size of the group. If someone wanted to they could use our pop-up camper, I'd have no problem pulling that down for the crew.

I went ahead and reserved a spot for that weekend since spots were filling up. The two adjacent spots are still avaiable, but I'm not sure for how long. Just let me know if you guys want to go ahead with the plan and I can reserve another spot for us.

If not, not biggie either. We have to start reserving our spots now anyways, they fill up 1-2 months in advance!

Oh, last FYI. We have a 4 day reservation for Memorial weekend so if you guys want to join us any day between May 25-28 then we'll be out there.
