Question for you. On the build and price, it shows all KR monotone's as coming with the fender flares painted to match. Why does yours and the White Gold one above not have it or was the build and price wrong in showing it? From everone's pics...it looks like they don't get the flares as advertised. Just curious. Thanks
I'm not who you were referring to, but the only way to get flares is to get a two tone truck. I was going back and forth between solid and two tone and that pushed me over to the two tone as I really like the look of the flares.
Yeah...that's what I first thought....but the Build and Price shows the solid color King Ranches getting the flares....but i'm sure it's just a mistake on the site. You can easily see the flares on the trucks in the pics...especially if you toggle back and forth between the Platinun and the King Ranch. Also...I saw a pic the other day of a solid White Gold KR WITH the flares...but they could have been added. Here's two pics. I'm sure these were Pre-production Monotone KRs....but they do look good with the flares on there....
B & P is likely wrong, and was probably originally built using these pre-production trucks like your photos. It's sad, because those flares are really sharp and drastically change the look of the truck!

Agreed, the fender flares make a big difference in side view profile. If I had the monotone I would get the Bushwacker Street Side flares. Same size as factory flares you get with the two tone. Just have them painted to match.
When you guys sat inside a king ranch and then a lariat could you feel a difference that justified the upgrade?
also why aren't they offering gray....
100% yes. I have a 2009 Lariat now. I love the interior because it is stone in color(not a yellow or bright tan) and it all flows.
The 2017 Lariat has too many colors. I am not a fan of the interior color tan and won't do black interior. The carpet is black, the center armrest is black and the door panels have too many areas where the black and tan are competing to give it a busy look.
I much prefer the interior of the KR, the logos, the use of a single color including carpet throughout and the massaging seats. Picking mine up tomorrow. Can't wait for the 2 hour drive home sitting on massaging air bladders.

Not sure about the 17 lariat only did a 15 min test drive in one before i ordered but i can say between my 2011 lariat and my 2017 platinum the leather is much softer (like my friends 2014 king ranch) so for me it was worth it
my new king ranch ultimate , blows away my lariat dually . in all aspects except the dually .and lift , interior is far less ,, and the seats are ten times more pleasant to sit in.

No flares for the monochrome....must be a site error.
I'll bet that color is easy to keep clean. I was very tempted on that one.
That is one well lighted garage. I like that. Did you double coat the concrete with sealer?
I would love to take the compliment for the garage floor but that is the delivery bay at the dealership.

Thanks for posting celeste646. Yep....that pretty much states it right there. But the Build and Price is still wrong....teases you with letting you build and see your truck with the flares on the Mono King Ranches......
for sure....there are many items on the pre production truck that they paraded around that didn't come to fruition when I went to order.
The fender flares were deleted, you couldn't get the LED lights without ordering the Ultimate package which forced me into retractable running boards and a sunroof (so again the pre production shows conventional cab steps) and finally when you go to monochromatic the grill slats remain caribou and NOTHING else on the truck is caribou. The pre production truck shown in white gold had white gold grill slats.
The slats do blend with my white gold color but with other color trucks I feel that people look at the grill and say...."why is your truck (insert color) and the grill is brown?
On mine, the worst comment I get is why are the grill slats slightly darker than the paint (implying that the paints do not match)? I tried to remedy this by putting tuffskinz caribou inserts on the hood to try to tie the grill color back to the truck.
I know I'm being picky but these are all items Ford could have corrected but simply did not. They were mis represented from the start.
