Well it was in my shop for the last 15 years and l had not messed with it for many years before that. I purchased it when l was 16 in 1982 and drove it for a few years and got busy with marriage and raising kids.
Just trying to get it started. I had burnt the clutch and was swapping the T10 to a toploader at the same time. I have upgraded to a duraspark ignition. Put a know working Edelbrock carb on it. I have primed the oil pump after a oil change, oiled all the cylinders but, it doesnt seem to have compression in all the cylinders.
It has a 69 351w with headers so l know l need to check compression but such a pain in the *** to pull plugs.
After many backfires and double checking TDC, changing plugs and ignition boxes and a few cans of starting fluid the spark totally stopped. I started checking the electronics and the distributor ended up being faulty. Swapped it with another new one and it fired up. I need to put valve covers back on and hook up the exhaust and go from there.
This is so good to see! I saw you post this car earlier in a post and thought to myself, that's a shame it doesn't belong to someone who would restore that!
Good luck!

l wish l had the cash to restore it. I was in the navy all of 2016 (recalled reservest) and after 22 years in and an E6 l could of made more working at 7-11.
I am just trying to get it road worthy and weld some new floor pans in her and enjoy it.
