King ranch tail gate panel
I was about to order 2017 ultimate king ranch with out chrome package.
I just realized that without the chrome package you do not get the aluminum tail gate panel that says king ranch
Does anyone know if you can add it seperetly?
Cost?
Ease of install
Any drilling

No you can't get it separately there would be a lot of drilling for all the clips that have to go on it would be better off ordering a new tailgate and applying the plaque to it this would probably cost around $4000 I would gladly trade my platinum tailgate for one without the plaque on it

Well I have talked to one body shop that says you can buy the panel and they can blend it onto the tailgate. That they have done it before on f150 trucks. I haven't received my truck but I am probably going to try it. tailgate panel is around 450 from ford.

There was a post about 7-8 days ago where a guy was able to order the plaque through the body ship for like $500 and he explained the install was pretty simple as it was with heavy duty adhesive tape that was pre applied....Might be the difference here of a factory install vs a body shop install. If I can find the posting I'll reference it here.

The KR tailgate chrome component is $1700 + labor....as I know from experience and to be explained when I have a chance to share the saga with the forum; guaranteed to get a rise from the board 🍻
