Transmission help!
So I just got off the phone with a auto salvage yard, I'm looking into doing a manual swap into my 92 f350 with the 7.3 idi. They asked about it have rectangular ribs or diamond shaped ribs. What does that mean? I looked at the e40d in my truck right now and it looks like it has rectangular ribs.
They said they had a toyo 5spd that would work with it. Any help would be great!
I may have heard the toyo part wrong, not sure if that's what the transmissions are called, was hard to hear. And I know pretty much nothing about transmissions.
