2001 Excursion with 2007 build

2001 Excursion with 2007 build
I have been looking at 100% wrecked trucks to do some upgrades to the 2wd 2001 V10 we have currently. I did find some interesting and encouraging notes around specific parts of the conversion process.
The vision for the end product is
1. 2wd - 4wd conversion (coil over)
2. 6.0 Diesel
3. 5R110
4. Interior update
5. Front Grill and lighting update
6. Mirror Update
7. Better front and rear axles
From what it looks like on my reading so far... except for 2 items a decent donor will get me everything I want.
The two items being
1. Must put in frame bracing
2. Drive axle lengths from a truck to an X are different no matter what the truck configuration.
My plan (or attempt) will be to get an entire 2007 F350 6.0 4x4 and use its parts under this Excursion.
I guess I am just looking to sanity check with a forum like this and get any other gotcha's called out.
