odd problems - computer?? or not??
My 1999 F150 XL 4x4 Auto w/ 5.4 is falling apart - or so it seems.
First - it started dead cranking - turns over but no spark or fuel. Yanked out the remote start and all was better for week. But it happened again twice in the past week now.
Second - ABS light comes on while driving, but only sometimes and without any consistent reasons.
Third - the Overdrive indicator light on the shift handle begins falshing. Again only sometimes and without consistent reasons.
Finally - the airbag light is always on. Not related I'm sure but thought I would include the info.
When the either of the lights come on - independently or together - while i am rolling I turn the ignition off and then start it again and everything resets itself.
First question - these items related? Secondly, any tips.

Hi smitch466 and welcome to FTE 
I think i would take the truck and get it scanned for trouble codes that might lead you in the right direction to fix the no start.
The ABS and OD light might be related. You might get a transmission code when you have the truck scanned. That would lead you in the right direction too. A bad VSS (vehicle speed sensor) can cause both the ABS light and OD light concerns.
You should also get an airbag code when the system is scanned. Does it ever flash when you first start the truck? If so you can count the flashes to get a code.
