Flippant comment: Since this is the 2017 Super Duty forum I could care less about the backlog for F150's . Seriously though, any idea how long the "process" is taking for Super Duty's? A day, 3 days', a week, 3 week's?
Hard to tell for me my truck shows it was built on Jan 3rd then had to get sprayed it was in Toronto Canada on the 17th of Jan and delivered to me 6hrs away on feb 1st.
So no real back log there i would think maybe 3 days gone to get sprayed?
I think it is only taking a day. My truck was built 2/6, released to body company (spray in) 2/6 and Awaiting Shipment / Received - (Jack Cooper Transport ) on 2/8
It's a molded plastic logo that is double-sided taped to the back of the bed, and sprayed over with the liner material.
Ford will absolutely not release that piece for sale or distribution, just FYI.
Thanks for that piece of info, Pocket.
I'm quite certain it would be extremely easy to recreate this plastic logo. It could be 3D printed or simply have one of the Chinese molding companies make a clone. I'm sure nobody is doing it because they would be sued.
