suggestion for tech folder
I have read several and several threads over the past year or 2 on various ideas and discussions. I have come up with a suggestion for a few common threads/discussions topics.
Either in the tech folder or make a sticky for common ideas:
delete topic: ranging from the simple easy I just want stock and DEF gone, to the I want POWER delete with all the bells and whistles. maybe take a survey and find what works the best and then consolidate into a simple easy to get to section with a few here is what you do links.
OIL and filters: from synthetic to dino oil and best filters
MPG: what is realistic and what isn't from hauling cross country with 12K+ to a daily driver
Tires: again from a daily driver to long haul and all terrain to mud tires, include maybe tire chains?

Oil? Shell Rotella T-6 covers all temp ranges and severe duty cycle. Truck tells you when to change it. Use motorcraft filters.
Mpg? Empty/solo truck -15-18mpg depending on terrain and city/country. Towing, 7-11 depending on frontal area of trailer.
Tires? Nitto, toyo, and cooper all have performed well for me, I get over 50,000 from a set but that's 100% towing and lots of interstate miles.
I'd like to know what LED bulbs work best for marker lights, headlights, all over the truck. I bought the Walmart ones and they don't last but they're bright.
