So was able to obtain a center console from an Expedition. No where in the center console folder does it say how anyone mounted it in the EXCURSION. Was wondering if anyone can say how they did it. Save me some time. Thanks.
The factory mounting plates for that console are not going to line up with the bolt holes in the excursion.
You can make the process both factory like and easy on yourself by using Blind rivet nuts. from memory I am going to say the mounts use a m8 bolt to attach to the floor, (check them, they will have a 10mm head)
Nutcerts
or you can booty fab it and use some self tappers hehehe
I ended up cuttingg the front mounts out completely so I could drop the front low enough when I did my Navigator console. I just used the rear mount and it works fine.......
