New to site, just traded in my 2016 F350 DRW on a 17 F250.
Omg I dont even belive these trucks are related..
Comparing the two seems like your comparing a 17 model to the 2003 unit.
Yea, great way to alienate yourself by telling all of us non '17 truck owners that our rigs are just like an '03. I happen to like my '16 F350 KR dually, has the looks I like and all the power I need to pull my 5th wheel.

And I have friends that tell me they love the 8-track in their truck...
1. Sold my voltage 3950 toy hauler
2. I buy new trucks generaly every year.
3. Like the new ones a ton.
BTW 16 350 was a plenty strong truck and could pull my 21k 5r no prblem and did everything well.
But i will state again the trucks are note comparable.
For history with Ford's ive owned:
04 250
06 350 SRW
08 250
10 350 DRW
16 350 DRW
All the in between were dodge trucks.
So i can speak from experience.

While I don't care if he thinks the trucks are that far apart...I disagree with the statement. I traded in a 2016 for a 2017 as well.
Let's see...the steering on the old truck was a lot lighter (which is nice), the sound system was better, the seats were mounted higher off the cab floor, the seats themselves were more comfortable, and overall...I loved the looks of the 2011-2016 generation. In some ways, I still think the 2016 truck was better looking; in other ways I like the 2017 better.
The 2017 added some new features and technologies not previously available...but having driven the previous generation for some years...I don't think they drive or ride radically different.
To the OP, congrats on the new truck. To cyncwby, I still love your truck!
