Only the front locks are designed to be automatically released when you pull the handle. I think the consideration was for children riding in the back; it was the same way in the previous generation Super Duty.

The new lock **** location at the rear of the door is awkward to pull up.

Page 67 in the manual:

Autolock and Autounlock (If Equipped)

The autolock feature locks all the doors when your doors are closed, the ignition is on, and your vehicle reaches a speed greater than 12 mph (20 km/h). When your doors autolock while driving, stopping the vehicle then switching the ignition off or to accessory and opening the driver door unlocks all your doors. This

autounlock feature remains active for 10 minutes after stopping.

Note: The doors do not autounlock if you

have electronically locked them before

opening the driver door

Hmm, mine is definitely not unlocking all the doors when I switch off the ignition.

My 2013 rear handles unlocked the locks when pulled. My kids hate this new "feature" in the new truck.

You have to switch off the ignition AND open the driver's door before other doors are opened. Then they all unlock.

I could be wrong - I remember it as being the same on my last two 2016 trucks.

Ah, makes sense, I'll give that a shot... I'll tell them to stop trying to race me out of the truck too.

Open the door, look on the door perimeter by the latch and see if they are set to not unlock (child setting)

I wish I could set it to unlock my doors anytime I open the driver's door. I leave my truck running a lot in the field and when I hop out I need to get my coat out of the backseat. 100
% of the time I forget to unlock the door and have to reopen the drivers door and unlock all the doors. Frustrating as hell.

After all these months, a poster above said to check the child locks. They were on from the factory. I turned them off. Hopefully this fixes the issue.

Totally agree, that is what I expected it to work like... this is in the not auto folding mirrors option in my book.
