Now that's some nice hardware rite there, I guess its the little boy still in me but I love old fire trucks. I didn't see a hook and ladder in the pics, but I remember them zooming around San Francisco making the tightest of corners. The guy steering the back half has to have some skill to maneuver one of those for sure. Hers a couple of pics of old and new hook and ladders from SSFD
^^The most unnerving part of driving tiller is going underneath low overpasses - no matter how long you've driven them you'll still fight the urge to duck.
We've got a few old Seagraves we keep for parade/historical duty. Here's the one I normally drive in the Pegasus Parade (parade for the Kentucky Derby), similar to the one in the pic:
CharlieLed, I wonder if either of the older two trucks are from El Cajon. My Uncle, Tom Owen, started with the department there in 1946 and retired as Chief.

OT but this is my daily driver! Well at least ever other day when I'm on duty. Of course I love all old Fire Apparatus. Probably will never tackle a restore though. The one I'm working on is enough of a challenge. By the way, I' the old man on the left
