How much work is involved with adding a Turbo to my truck. I have a 93 F350 7.3 ..... And is it easy to find a used turbo.... can someone fill me in with some details.
I wouldn't hold your breathe for an answer. I posted 5 days ago about changing an injector and got no replies. Hard to believe no one on here ever changed an injector. Not as helpful as other boards I'm on.
Big Blue .... Your from the Cape ... small world , me too. What part are you from, I grew up in Yarmouth, lived in Hyannis for a few years but I live now in Bourne. I work in Hyannis still.
The Banks system is pretty easy, took about 10 hours and it runs like a raped ape. Sorry about the long delay, most of the time the guys write back faster. Anyway hope this helps. I will check back but the Banks is a really easy system to install and will make a world of difference in your truck. Scotty
NICE I think Im def gonna go w the sidewinder system ... I just ordered the complete exhaust for my truck from BANKS .. It will be a few more weeks before I can splurge and buy the turbo ...
Good luck, I am really impressed with it. Once you get it, you can do the same thing I did and screw the wastegate acuator rod in a few turns and get yourself a few extra punds of boost and as long as you keep your eyes on the pyro you should be worry and trouble free. Good luck.
