78 engine swap ?'s
I have a friend with a 78 f series half ton truck. It has a 351 m in it now, and he wants us to install an 86 302 HO he has that is fresh rebuilt at his house. My question is this......Are the frame mounts the same in the same year truck, weather it has a 302 or a 351 m? We already have a tranny to go with the 302, I just am not sure if I can tell him to buy 302 mounts for that year and they will work. I am trying be be ready before we start this. Any help will be greatly appreciated....Thanks, Hippie.
