Good point on the reps Steve. Reps are given and received in the 6.7 section for helpful posts all the time but the newer members in the 17 section don't seem to be familiar with the process. For those that don't know, look for the little scale in the upper right hand corner of a post you want to rep. Click it and send a message about why you appreciate the post your repping. The member you rep will receive a notification in their user cp and their rep point count will rise. This will also show up in the green dots shown in each post. If you ever notice why some folks have more dots, this is how you get them.
Thanks for that. This was the first time I've done so even though a number of folks have done so for me. It took me a while to figure out how to do it. There's probably a tutorial or instructions somewhere on the forum, but I've missed it if there is.

BTW - my oldest son just bought a new 2016 F150 Lariat from Groove in December. I drove him down to do the deal so he could drive his new truck home. I had never been there before but was impressed with their approach. Pretty laid back. I thought it was a very comfortable experience. It was his first time buying a new vehicle, so I was pleased with the way they handled it. We're up in Erie so we don't get to that side of town very often.

So just for y'alls information I know someone said the other day if you request information about the 17 you get a 750 rebate. Well I requested a emailed one and well today I received the email for the extra 750 rebate in just 4 days so just some of yall can get a little different extra off y'alls trucks.
Thanks much for that info. I think Rodney and I both requested info by mail so as not to be getting more stuff in the inbox. At least, I think that's what I did. So far nothing has shown up, but I'm probably not going to see my truck till next week, so there's still time. Someone said that, even if you don't get the discount coupon, the dealer can look you up in their system and see if you have one. Rodney's going to his dealer tonight or tomorrow, so we should know if that is true or not.

I know what you mean, man. I sent a copy of the railcar photo to the inventory manager at my dealer today. She is the one who has been providing me with updates. She responded that, in all of her many years of doing this, she has never met anyone as excited to get their new truck as me! I guess it must show.
